    HY11H Indoor, Smoke-Free Physical Matting Agent 

    Overview

    Matting agent HY11H is an internally balanced reactive matting agent (commonly known as a physical matting agent) that does not consume epoxy resin from the substrate matrix. It is suitable for hybrid polyester/epoxy systems in ratios of 5:5, 6:4, and 7:3, exhibits broad compatibility with polyesters, and requires low addition levels. The agent delivers excellent coating appearance quality, antiyellowing properties, and mechanical performance. Its fumefree characteristic meets the requirements of environmentally conscious customers.

    Product Application

    Add 1–3% (by total formulation weight) of the matting agent and blend it evenly with other raw materials before coextrusion. The powder can then be manufactured following standard production processes. The optimal dosage should be determined through practical testing.

    • Compatible with polyester/epoxy powder coatings achieving a 60° gloss of 8 GU or higher.

    Packaging Specification
    Supplied in polyethylene inner bags with kraft paper outer packaging. Each bag has a net weight of 25 kg.

    Storage Requirements
    Store in a cool, dry, and wellventilated area, with the container tightly sealed.
    Protect from direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity, and keep away from open flames and heat sources to prevent caking.
    The recommended storage temperature is below 30°C. The product has a shelf life of 12 months. Material exceeding the storage period may be retested; if test results meet specifications, it may still be used.
