HY310 Fumed Silica
Brief Description
Fumed silica exerts lubricating and isolating effects between powder coating particles, preventing them from sticking and agglomerating easily. It increases powder bulkiness, improves the dry powder flowability of powder coatings (reducing the angle of repose), and enhances the fluidization performance in powder feed hoppers. Meanwhile, due to its characteristics such as large specific surface area, small particle size, and porosity, it has strong moisture adsorption capacity, which can effectively prevent powder caking and improve storage stability. This product has a wide range of application methods and can be added either by internal extrusion or external mixing.

Product Application
It is applicable to various kinds of powder coatings.
For internal extrusion: Add 0.1 - 0.3% of HY319 and mix and disperse it evenly with other raw materials. For external mixing: Grind the fumed silica together with the material flakes and proceed with production in accordance with the powder manufacturing process. The specific dosage can be determined through experiments.

Storage requirements

If stored beyond the shelf life, it can be re-inspected; if the test results meet the requirements, it can still be used.
